Relax with your loved ones and let us organise a private charter you will remember for ever. We still have some great yachts available for this winter, ask us today.
1. When should we go to the Bahamas?
The Bahamas are truly a year-round destination. The constant trade winds provide the Bahamas with a warm agreeable climate that varies very little over the year. The most refreshing time is from December through February when the temperature is between 70-75°F (21-24°C). It is a little warmer in the remaining months with temperatures that average 80-85°F (27-29°C). Bear in mind that cyclone season goes from June to November but they do not hit here as frequently as they do the East Coast of the US.
2. Where should we embark in the Bahamas?
There are a number of places that you can embark on your private charter yacht in the Bahamas. The easiest port is Nassau where the main international airport is, with a number of daily flights from mainland America. Nassau is also home to the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, where the marina is large enough to berth yachts up to 240 feet (73m) long. The island also provides luxury charter guests who wish to partake of shore-side activities everything they could want for pre or post charter - shopping, fine dining, spas, entertainment, casinos & golf courses.
3. Where should we go in the Bahamas?
With over 700 islands spanning more than 100,000 square miles of ocean there are plenty of luxury charter yacht itineraries to choose from, and plenty of space where you can be far from any crowds.
One possibility is to head south to the Exumas. This region in the Bahamas is an archipelago of 365 magnetic islands and cays that are scattered across a cerulean sea. The opportunities for unbridled exploration and adventure are seemingly endless: you can choose anything from the delights of mixing it with the locals in their old-world villages and dining on local delicacies, through to total isolation on a remote sand cay. Other alternatives include fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving and other water sports.
Another Bahamas yacht charter option is to explore the Abacos, an archipelago north of Nassau. This island paradise is thought by many to be the boating and sailing capital of the Bahamas. Whether it is the gentle trade winds, the tranquil beaches or the charming villages, the islands of the Abacos have an appeal that constantly tempts travellers from across the sea. Charter guests will fall in love with this area with its numerous picturesque harbors, serene anchorages and stunning ocean sunsets.
4. What can we do in the Bahamas?
Your itinerary and what you do will be personalized to your tastes. And if all you want to do is relax onboard being pampered by your crew that is your choice. Luckily there are lots of things to entertain you both on the land and the sea.
The Bahamas offer phenomenal opportunities for fishing for both first-time anglers and accomplished sport-fishing professionals. The area is most renowned for it's deep sea or big game fishing, but there's also great reef and fly/bone fishing. From marlin to snapper, wahoo to shark you'll have the chance to have some fun and test your skills, and your chef onboard will always be happy to cook up your "catch of the day". .

A world of aquatic wonders is waiting for you in the azure crystal clear waters of the Bahamas. And given how deliciously warm the waters are you'll want to spend as much time exploring this undersea extravaganza. Again whether you have hours of aquatic experience or it's the first time there are so many reefs and wrecks to explore you will be entertained for hours.
There are award-winning exclusive golf resorts all over the Bahamas. It's a spectacular destination with scenic views, clear skies and sun-kissed weather that attracts top golfers and events. If you're looking for a challenge try the 18-hole course at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Exumas where the Caribbean tradewinds add an interesting level of difficulty to every swing.
With all that crystal-blue water surrounding you at an average of 80 degrees F it is little wonder that spending time in or on the water is a favorite pastime in the Bahamas. And given that most luxury charter yachts come with so many toys whatever you wish to do, whether it be kayaking, paddel-boarding, jetskiing or kiteboarding, your crew are likely to be able to find you the best spots to do it in,
5. How do we get to the Bahamas?
Come December many airlines are intending to recommence flights to the Bahamas. American Airlines has scheduled 246 flights there in December, while Delta and Silver also have plenty of availability, as do Jet Blue & United. It's possible to book direct flights from many of the major US airports including New York, Atlanta, Ft Lauderdale and Houston.
It’s also worth checking the benefits and costs of private aviation for group travel. Traveling by private jet has many advantages over commercial flights, and is the perfect complement to your luxury charter vacation. Not only are you travelling within your own private "bubble" away from crowds, the whole process is streamlined and efficient, so you can relax in safety and focus on unwinding and savouring the anticipation of your luxury charter vacation from the time you leave home.
